Sigh, I want to be Shirley when I grow up. This is gorgeous. I'm doing strip quilts.... Marji
Thank you. You make me laugh!! If you look carefully the background to this quilt is also strips (wobbly ones)!! I love strip quilts.
Wow, it is just too beautiful for words! What a work of Art!
Shirley, how awesome! And what was the quilt group's comments? Think I'd have to keep it! Tell me what everyone does with the wall hangings like this? In my old mind, a quilt is still something to sleep under! And yes, we do sleep under quilts over 40 yrs. old.
I do have bed quilts as well, but not as old as 40 years. This will hang on a wall in place of a painting. Sometimes, I drape the smaller quilts over the back of the couch and we use them as knee rugs when it's cold. *4U
Woooww - this is just gorgeous! No wonder you haven`t have time to chat with us for a while. Are you keeping this with yourself or ....? What size is your quilt? *4U
I haven't decided whether to keep this or not. It is about 140cm x 150cm. Thanks.
Love it, love it, loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too clever and bunch of *4U

It is a joy to look at. The daisies are quite stunning on your interesting green background. I love it!
Love how the daisies stand out on the darker background making a garden scene for the quilt. It reminds me of the beautiful wild flowers in our grass verges during springtime.
OH WOW! Shirley this is breathtaking - what did the quilt group say about it? Wonderful work and I don't blame you for working on it - it is stunning! *4U
This is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing the details of how you achieved this wonderful result. I love projects where people put together different creative techniques.
Oh this is wonderful!! Since I don't quilt, I have no idea of hours involved. How long did it take to make?
