Someone please tell me what's with the little flowers?? I've got 20 by my name, but have no idea what to do with them or what they mean. Thank you!

barbaralee, WELCOME to the 'CUTE' family - in each of the comments - someone has voiced their oppionion to what the flowers are for - each has given you the correct answer - we give and receive them - we also get them from the 'CUTE' site - when we post a project or a question and for logging in each 24 hours. So - if you choose - you can also go down on to each of the people that posted a comment here and give them a flower - just change the green to orange - in the project and the bookmark area the flowers go from orange to gray, I believe. We do have a community list and that is usually the top 15 contributors to the community - we are just members like you - that come to the site and love to chat and post projects. 11240I'm a newbie too. At first I wondered about the flowers. After a couple of days I figured that the flowers didn't mean much at all. After about a month, I found that the ones with the most flowers were the ones that I could count on to answer questions and be there for the other cuties. They are the backbone of the group. They are the ones that raise the new ones up. Now, I enjoy every flower that I get. It feels like a hug. I hope that you will see it the same way. That's what I'm giving you when I way *4U [wink]

44254You receive one flower automatically everyday when you sign-in and a 24 hrs period has passed from the last time you first signed in the prior day. When you post a project people give you flowers when they look at it and then click on the flower at the top by the project's tittle. You can also get flowers by asking or answering people's questions and then clicking on the flower by their name, when the flower turns orange and you see the word thanks by it, you have sent someone a flower. Must importantant of all at least for me, if I answer a question or post a project I make sure that I go back to it and give a flower to those who have answered my question or put a comment on my project. 34304Flowers flowers every where. We give them, we get them, we collect them. It's fun to watch your flowers add up and then wonder who gave them to you. It's just a way of letting others know thier comments, questions and tips are being read. for asking questions, answering questions. We are giving to each other cuz we love each other. (Most often if I read answers to some of the questions, I'll also go down the list and give everyone a flower.) If I didn't answer this thoroughly, someone else will be sure to.
