I buy a lot from embroidery library and have the same problem when I convert their chart to Janome the colours are way off but have learnt to write out my own colour chart before I sew with everything I do
I have noticed this also. but I usually pick my own colors. A flower for you.
Elaine, it isn't just the $.17 designs - alot of the designs that I purchase from Emblibrary are that way - I use the PES format - they have a color chart - that you can go by - I try to do mine when I first buy them, but I don't always get it done - they have told me it is my software and not theirs - so go figure that their site is the only site that I have trouble with my colors - but it hasn't stopped me from buying from them. Hehehe! I hope you work through it soon and you get into stitch out that design and putting it in the projects for us to view.
There is no stop between the green and the pink, so thee is n pink. But I have fixed it now. Thanks.
I did, too elaine, it was a real mess, but I have found most everything I get from them I have to do loads of work on the colors. When there are that many changes, I get confused and forget what it is going to stitch next so I have to write down the color order when there are repeats thoughout the design even though I'm choosing my own colors.
I'm Like MM I usually use my own colors but if your friend complained to Emb. library they would probably fix it 4 her. They r nice folks to deal with. *4U
i never go by color charts i think that was one of the first questions i asked here was why some designs look different in my software with colors
