something that I could use as a water barrier. I also wanted to be able to wash it so that knocked out a lot of options. Didn't want to go running around in 103 degree heat looking for something. I was taking out some trash and I had an old vinyl table cloth in the trash bag and the light bulb went off. I took the table cloth and cut out two squares, put them back to back and finished my project. Now it has come padding in it and I can wash it whenever I like. By the way I am saving the rest of the table cloth for other projects.

I know I have said it more than once all you cuties are brilliant! I am guessing you used a coaster design? I like the idea of using it in a place mat, maybe in the upper right hand corner for drinks to set on. What size needle did you use? *4all P.S. Don't forget the picture to show us!
