Shirley, welcome to the 'CUTE' family - we hope to see some of your projects soon, too! *4U
not seen this technique before and I'm impressed by finish. Looks easy but not so sure that it is. Jo
Lovely Quilt. Very Pretty and "ditto" to all the other comments.
this is great I so Love rag quilts they do up so fast and are very forgiving. This looks wonderful. *4u
oh so extremely delicate and very pretty indeed, love it lots
Beautiful soft Quilt for baby . Did you use flannel ? A flower for you.
it is a beautiful quilt, the colours very fresh for a baby
sqdancer u have done a wonderful job. some of the designs look like embossing. Are they? *4U
No they are just so soft in the flannel that it looks like embossing. Thought yesterday that I might do another one with embossed cats...still in the thinking stage..thanks lbrow & *4u
Anyone interested in trying one of these rag quilts you can find project instructions here ....
Thank you so much sqdancer - i needed these instructions as my first quilt was not so successful on other instructions. *4U
So beautiful. I like the pink mottled fabric you used. Is is brushed cotton? *4U
Hi Shirley, thanks, no the whole quilt is flanelette, 3 layers. front, back & center.
Glenda, this is lovely - where did you get your designs from? I like how you put a square around each of the designs in the light color. This is going to be a family heirloom for sure. *4U
Thanks Shirlene, the baby designs are from Oh Baby Oh quilt from Skeldale and the design on the pink fabric was also from Missi but a free design...
Glenda, thank you - I read it on the other posting - after - but I appreciate that you came back and answered it here, too!
What a darling quilt. I've made rag quilts but not with the embroidery designs. You did a great job.
Thanks it took quite a while to do all the embroidery but being all one color helped...
