So, after many, many hours of uninstalling and reinstalling software, I finally got it working. Hooray!! And I didn't lose any files. I also managed to get it working long enough to keep up with the alpha's I am collecting. But it took me going back 14 pages in the Community file to catch up with all of you. Didn't leave may responses cause I am just so far behind, but read each and every one of the postings.


Oh and how could I forget - THANK YOU ALL for getting me to 1,700+ flowers. Makes a guy feel real warm and fuzzy and welcome. Thanks again. Hugs, Eric

Eric sorry about your problems I've been there. Don't it make U so mad when they tell u to do all different things & somehow u wind up n more troublr than u were to start with. Glad it wasn't any worse than it was & everything is back to rights. *4u

Sorry to hear you've had computer problems,and I can relate to having to deal with those phone tech support folks. Been there,done that, no fun. Glad you have it fixed and can use your computer again and did not lose any of your files. Flower 4 u

Well, Eric - let me guess - you were having to deal with someone outside the US? This happened to my sister in Texas, and it took her over 3 hours on the phone just to get them to admit that there was a problem, and that they needed to reinstall some program that had to do with her banking or something. But, so glad you got it fixed and did not lose any files. That would be devastating! More * 2U

IT WAS outside the US. I won't say where so as not to offend them, but spent 7 hours on the phone on Fri and 25 minutes today. They finally told me it was their problem and not mine. Took me talking to a Vice President, but I got it done. Now all I have to do is wait for the fix.
