just want to make sure this is seen i know you was gone and did not see this
Have you run the tutorials that came with it on the CD. I have 3D and found those very useful. 4D seems to be more consumer friendly, so follow the tutorial and you might be more successful. Good luck!
Hope the class helps. What a shame to have software that you can't use and you've paid so much for it.
always nice to know someone that can help............*4u all
ok got a hold of my friend she is waiting for you to email her at me2creations@hotmail.com. she would love to help you out
When you see it done by a pro, really it will come clear. Just remember to take a lampshade with you, because that lightbulb over your head is going to be soooo bright when it comes on, hee hee hee. I have Janome Digitizer Pro and taught myself, struggled a lot, but boy when that bulb came on it was a great moment. The Pro programs do so much that lots of times we need a bit of guidance to get started right, but this class will help a lot!! Your teacher sounds like the right person for the job. Best of luck, Marji
Also, you can go to this site for free weekly tutorial. Just click on the "Tutorial" tab.

I still wonder why so many want to digitize their own when there are so many wonderful designs on the internet. I have a Janome 300E with no digitizing software and I am having a wonderful time just stitching. However, if it weren't for those who do such lovely digitizing, I wouldn't have any designs to stitch. Thank you.
I'm sure you will be fine once you've had it all explained to you in the class. Fingers crossed. *4U
Don't give up,maybe when you see it in person at the class everything will become clear.Good Luck ( everything crossed. ) A flower for you
I saw the new Diamond Husgvarna Viking. Is that the same machine as the 4d Pro? When I took my lessons, I was so computer illiterate that I had to take a lesson first to take the classes. when they got to digitizing I was totally lost. I don't have a scanner on my printer. I know you will do fine, because you wiil understand the terms.
Katydid - the Diamond is the embroidery machine. The 4Dpro is the software for Husgvarna. I would probably like the Diamond, but can not see putting out $9000 right now for it since I do have the SE. My friend also has the SE and she was offered $3000 for hers to trade up. Maybe we should learn to appreciate what we have, and just make it work for us. Thanks for responding.
fingers toes and eyes crossed maybe i can get a friend of mine to come back to cute to help you she has 4d and doing a great job let me see if i can find her and maybe she can help you
Thanks - I ve two friends going too, but they have depended on me a lot to help them with things - this dumb ole girl can't seem to get it right. I will have to post my fist attempt! Done a while back though.
my first atempt was a disaster i still have it i guess for memories lol it was auto digitized looked good to me but then it had 36 color changes for what looked like 8 or 9 colors by the eye so then i started to manual well i guess i should say click to stitch that is a lot better now i need to learn to manual punch oh me oh my lol
