I have a projects folder on my desktop. The folder contains subfolders with people names that I want to use the design for. A word file with notes set up the same way with subfolder, but my ideas written down because I am so forgetful.
Sounds good but I don't want to have o leave the design page until I have my idea written down. Thats why I was thinking of some type of notebook.
I have an Access folder "ready to go" where I put ideas, colour combination, what article, whom for, etc. When done it goes in another folder with remarks about comments from receiver, etc. But I also keep a notebook, just to jot ideas down quickly. That's in my purse. Most of the time, might even be under the bed.
every times that I have 800 designs dowloaded, I print the pictures of them, I put them in a notebook, and it gives me also the numbers of stitches at all and for each colour the n° of the thread in the classic mark. But now I have many note books to flip through, I should have done category since the beginning
I can see by the comments list that you have given us all a good idea, now to implement it...have a good day ...
I keep a word sheet (named:PROJECT IDEAS) on my desktop because I can copy/paste a picture along with description of what I want to do and how I want to do it.;)
When I download I copy and paste the picture of the design and print them all in groups as animals - farm or zoo, children, babies, flowers and so on. I put these pages in a binder in their groups so I know where the designs are located and can view all right from the binder. I have a spiral notebook to jot down ideas and layouts. I haven't been in this as long as some of these cutee's so as time goes on I am sure my binder will grow into more binders. You will come up with your own system that will work for you.
great idea i do not have one of them going yet maybe i need to organization is what i need lol
That happens to me too sometimes,I get a great idea, and 2 days later I forget what the great idea was.I need to keep a notebook as you suggested.Thank you for the tip.* 4 U
