That is so cute. I have a large stash of tea towels so I should try an apron. I think I buy a dozen every time I go to the Cotton Shop.
Thanks. You need two of each print so you can do a tea towel to hang and an apron to wear. Have fun. Post some of your creations.
What a pretty apron...I can see you in from of your grill, getting ready for a big BBQ. I been working on an apron but maybe I will finished is sometime next week, I will do some chicken or birhdouse designs on the one I'm doing, it is going to be a gift for my daughters frien.* 4 U...
friend...She is like another mother to her...and the good Lord know that I need that help!!LOL.
Thank you. Yes it always helps to have other mothers for our children to help guide them
Such a great idea for the tea towel. A flower for you
I love it ...came out great and I too am surprised that it would be big enough for an adult ...*4u
Very Nice GP. One day I will catch up to all you are doing. In the meantime I am gone again. Maybe I am "forever gone". But then I guess we knew that already.
How about a loop at the waist of the Apron to hang a tea towel from for hand drying. Just another little twist to the origional idea. It is a great idea though. I will probably steal it.
Thank you. Time to get everyone settled so you can embroider. Drive safely.
good idea to use a towel, so the towel and the apron can match together!!
Great idea to use a tea towel in this way. The result is super! Nice for the kids, but I don't think they make tea towels big enough to fit me.
Thanks, I was surprised that a towel would make an apron that would fit an adult.
Looks great - such a clever way to make an apron. *4U
Very nice. Does it fit a child or adult?
Both. When I first saw one I didn't think it would. It isn't a large apron but does fit for an adult and probably a child 7 or older, just make the loop around the neck smaller.
Karen, this is stunning - where did you find this tea towel - it is nice! Great job with sewing this apron, so is the bell applique? Wonderful work. *4U
Thanks Shirlene, I bought the tea towel at the Cotton Shop in Provo, but I'm sure the ones in Murray or Sandy have them. Just trim the sides and add bias tape.
OH - so you live close to Provo - I live close to Ogden - I don't know if there is a Cotton Shop around here - I will look around. Thanks!
Actually I live about 2 1/2 hours from Provo. I just was visiting there.
