Not the news i was hoping for so I'm rather disappointed. Oh well, i don't feel much like sewing just now anyway so i'll just spend some extra time recovering from the surgery.

Left side gums, top and bottom are full of stitches and very sore where the bone and teeth were cut away, right sides are much better as the teeth there obviously came out more easily and the infection had not spread to that side.
My face is now a lovely shade of yellow as the bruising fades and the swelling has found it's final limit and is now receding. I'm starting to look a bit more human and less like a battered wife now, so I may even set foot outside the house tomorrow... LOL!
Well it's time for pain killers and rest, so I'll thank you all for your wonderful well wishes and support and send you all hugs n roses, Meganne

Well, Meg, I hope you have, are having, did have, a nice birthday, despite the machine & the surgery. At least you don't have to "chew" birthday cake, right? Wishing you all the best, Marji

Meganne, All the best for your Birthday. Just think of all the planing off projects u can do for future sewing. finding designs, Material, working out colours, etc. Writing it all down & no rush. When u get your machine back u can give it a good workout. Happy planing.

oh meganne, hope the pain killers do work, and in spite of your missery of the machine and your surgery, try to have a very nice birthday, because you deserve a lovely day. Your face is starting to get human as you say , but most important: you're human and one of the best human beings there is. So enjoy your birthday !! congratulations and hope the repairtime of your machine is over soon.

You really have been through the mill haven't you? I hope you are feeling better now and on the road to a speedy recovery soon. Your machine is certainly causing concern and I hope you got a quote for the part they have ordered from overseas, as replacement and installation costs to my faithful old Memorycraft 8000 came to over $900...hope this is not the case with yours, you certainly don't need any more depressing news. But on the bright side, I hope you have a very Happy Birthday tomorrow and that all your Birthday wishes come true. Best wishes and flowers to you.

Meganne, I really do feel for you. I know things will improve, with a lot of time, but in the meantime it's a terrible way to lose weight isn't it? Do take care & I send my very best wishes to you for your Birthday & for relief from the pain. Jean.
