This is a kite my husband and I made for our youngest grand-daughter. The

material is 50%Polyester/50%Cotton. It is 34 inches long and 18 inches wide.

Ben Franklin never let a little rain stop him.
Lovely kite, what a great idea.

Wow kite making, we use to make them from newspaper, paper sacks & rags from grandma's stash. Now did they get it up n the air yet? Be sure they send a message up the string. *4U

It hasn't been up in the air yet, far too
wet, we're hoping for some dry weather soon, then we can launch it! *4U

Pat, saw this yesterday. So glad you reposted. Very cute idea and wonderful you included Grandpa in the project. I will tell my husband. He loves to do for our granddaughters.

An unusual project Pat, love the little she devil. Hope caitlin can keep her feet firmly on the ground when this takes flight in those Cornish gales!
