Oh jofrog I love it. It's fantastic. did U cut the bottom ribbing off. & encase the rest of the shirt? this would make such a nice Christmas gift. *4U
I was away for the weekend to help a friend with her first quilt, and just came back to all these lovely comments! Makes me feel so good. Yes, I cut the ribbing off the bottom, so it was a flat piece of sweatshirt to quilt. I also just sewed the heart buttons on for decoration and put velcro dots on to help her close it easier.
Well u did a beautiful job. thanks I make ea. of my girls a shirt 4 christmas along with the 3 Grand daughters, plus more for friends & have been doing this now 4 more than 18 yrs. I always try to do different things ea. yr & different shirts for ea. The very first ones were needle punch embroidery, some appliques, some painted etc. I love making them so will try at least one like yours. Probably 4 myself

Very creative and fun seasonal jacket. I can tell you are an excellent seamstress!
see what happens when you don't quit! very nice! A+ and a flower....of course!!
All that work resulted in a very beautiful, unique jacket. Well done!
Wooow, very very cute jacket. Super colors & super design! **********
I did the bottom part because of a fade line where it was folded on a shelf for a long time. Cut above it, and then used the bottom as batting between the cotton prints, and after quilting, sewed it back together!
Joanne, what a great job - I am sure your mother will adore it. *4U
