I was testing out the snowflake on a sweatshirt for my Mom, and just kept going. Encased the bottom in fabric and stipple quilted it. The top and sleeves I left original.

I was away for the weekend to help a friend with her first quilt, and just came back to all these lovely comments! Makes me feel so good. Yes, I cut the ribbing off the bottom, so it was a flat piece of sweatshirt to quilt. I also just sewed the heart buttons on for decoration and put velcro dots on to help her close it easier.

I did the bottom part because of a fade line where it was folded on a shelf for a long time. Cut above it, and then used the bottom as batting between the cotton prints, and after quilting, sewed it back together!

Very innovative to do all this to the jacket & to make it look so good too.
