the design bigger by adding stitches, but the stitch size stays the same. Yes/No? If I enlarge the design but don't resize it , does it increase the size of the stitch or not? I hope this makes since. I have 5 different things go this morning. Trying to multi task. LOL

This might be a stupid question. When you do a cross stitch design you do it the same as embroidery design? Just looks like it was cross stitched????

There are two ways of enlarging (maker smaller) a design.
1. Up to 10% - stitch count stays the same, stitch size is larger (or lower)- can usually be done in the machine.
2. Resizing in the software - greater range - stitch length stays the same, stitch count in- or decreases.

Don't use the latter method with cross stitch designs. It might give awful results. You can use the first method but you may have to use thicker (30) or thinner (50) thread.

Thank you for the info. I just thought this design would look more like cross-stitch if the stitches were larger.
