I hope she comes back real soon. It's a good thing you have cute to keep you company. *4U
try to find Granny's Forum.com, it is real hard to find that's why I have it bookmark, I went there one time and forgot to put it on my favorites, later on I look for it and found only very ugly places, but if you get to the right Granny's you will find enough freebies to keep you busy. Hope you'll find it.*4U
Babyred No one knows how we feel except those who have embroidery machines, I't like u have lost as U say "your best friend" or child or mom or DH. I cannot concentrate on anything but "I want my machine back" I even went looking to buy a backup machine. the cost is the only thing that slowed me down. Hope u get it back quickly *4u
Maybe no one else understands us, but at least we have each to lend a shoulder to cry on!! Thanks
I think that IT IS loosing your best friend, Your machine keeps you busy, you can talk to it, and doesn't talk back, sometimes you force it to overworked, and get no complains,it is happy is you don't clean or cook, etc., I LOVE MY MACHINE!!!*4u
Oh I know what you mean... I was without my machine all week! Was down at the repair shop. I felt like I had lost one of my best friends. :-( lol. Thank goodness I got it back yesterday morning. Hope you find something fun to occupy your time Red that's not too expensive. lol
I am not spending anything, but finding lots of freebies from all the tips from the Cute family.
Sorry to hear your machine is in shop, but a great time to download more designs, organize designs, and finally decide what projects to make and get em ready for when machine is back.Flower giving too is always fun. *4u
It is always a good time to go fabric hunting. Also looking in stores for ideas is a great way to help in creativity....
BabyRed, where in Pgh? I'm in Erie!!! You're the closest one I've found here, I'm excited!! Come up here and sew, I've got a Janome 300E, a regular Janome, a serger, a sewing room, and a guest cabin, what more could you want? Did I just hear your car door slam? Welcome here anytime!! Marji
Marji, I am in Portersville! Even closer than Pittsburgh. I love Erie. I usually get there at least once a year. This year, I have not been there yet. Maybe this is just what I needed. An invitation! I would love to come up to visit. Not this weekend because I work tomorrow. Possibly next weekend! I read your profile and we are about the same age. We should have a good time! I see your email in your profile. I will add mine to my profile. We will keep in touch.
THANKS!!!!
Flowers for everyone. That is another thing I can do. Give away flowers all day!
Or you could sit in front of the computer all day browsing through Cute.
Hate to tell you...but there are probably a million other things you could do-LOL ...but of course that's not the point - it's about what we WANT to do! Sew go on a downloading spree and get your projects ready and hope you get your machine back REAL soon!!!
Ugh. How frustrating.... Been there myself a few weeks ago. Was a good chance to get caught up on sorting my computer embroidery files, printing out patterns, etc. And of course...SHOPPING FOR MORE PATTERNS. :)
Sorting my designs is a really good idea. Maybe after that downloading spree!
hope you get it back soon. Plan out all your projects and get everything ready for when you get it back.
Bummer when do you get it back???? *4u download spree sounds good in the meantime
Hope to get it back early next week. I think it just needs an adjustment. I hope so because I really do not have the funds for an expensive repair.
