This is the Quilt I made for my Niece for her wedding in June this year. It measures 105" X 95 " (whew). It was to be 105 " square. but spat the dummy , and thought that it was big enough at 105x95 . Just as well I had my new Grand Quilter from Pfaff to Quilt it. I quilted it to within and inch of it's life .ha ha

Thank you so much. it took 6 weeks working solidly to put it together and then another 2 weeks to Quilt. I Quilted it "to an inch of it's life " Glad I did as the quilting really shows up.

Hi Roslyn, your quilt is stunning and I love it! I have one question, "What is "Spat the dummy"? I have never heard that term but obviously others have as they have not asked what it means. Maybe I am just slow!!! Ha-Ha-Ha!!!! I feel that a question never asked is an answer never known--and--I want to know! Thanks, Bonita

Ta Much .Now you know what I do in between embroidering stuff. They have a "king size" bed so I sort of had to guess what size to make it. Tyler puts her Pillows under, like a "sham" so it had to be long enough. All guess work I suppose

shirlener88 by shirlener88 18 Aug 2008

Thank you - for being such a wonderful aunt.

Ta Misscharlie. It took 6 weeks ( nearly 8-10 hour days) to cut and put it together and then another 2 weeks quilting it. BOY was I pleased when it was finished.I think that it took around 3 hours JUST to hand sew the binding down. But I don't begrudge one ounze of time spenton it. You'll get yours finished too and it will be beautiful Cheers

Thank you. I Hope they do. We can only hope can't we. She was the Recipient of the Purple Quilt too. I think I'll have to
think of something else for the 2 boys ( Men) they already have one each, But I think the eldest boy MAY be thinking of marriage next year. Just a "hunch"
