I notice there has been link to this site in one of the recommendations for free designs in one of the posts this evening. I had an email recently from Anna Bove to say she has lanched a new site for the following reason.....and I quote.....
"This new site launch, as well as
the large break with new designs, is due to some of my ex staff
attempting to to take illegal control of my websites and business.
As a result, the old sites have been under their full control for
several months.
Currently I have managed to re-claim our main domain name, and
am now in the process of getting back everything else. As you may
notice, embroidery supplies are currently missing - they will become
available again shortly.
I know that as a result of this confrontation, at this time my designs
are being distributed illegally. From my end, am taking all the
necessary steps to stop this, and I hope that in the nearest future
the matter will be resolved. In the meantime, I'd like to ask for your
help in combating software piracy of embroidery designs, and your
contribution is extremely important.
Please notice - all designs on annaboveembroidery.com are
copyright protected. Any other web site offering my designs
(e.g. the same designs as those listed on annaboveembroidery.com),
WITHOUT carrying my name AND without being listed as an official
dealer on annaboveembroidery.com, do NOT have any rights to
distribute those designs, and is doing so illegally. At this moment the
ONLY other company that has a license for selling designs that were
created by Anna Bove is The Sewphisticated Stitcher, Inc.
Whenever you see my designs being sold elsewhere, please, send
me an email at anna@annaboveembroidery.com .
I strongly believe that part of what happened is for the better. Now
there is a much more user-friendly web-site, which you will surely enjoy.
It has many new features, including gift certificates and an improved
search function. Remember to check out all the discounts and offers,
and visit our new freebies archive:
http://site.annaboveembroidery.co..." .....after the anguish marymoore went through I thought I should pass on this information. Jo
