I know Mary is digitizing, Shirlene is stiching out FSL... Letvia is moving and the Florida gals are getting ready for a serious washing.

My husband just left to take my father home. I was halfway digitizing one of the Drawing Kids from Clipart, when he arrived 12 days ago and I have not been able to do a thing while he was here. Anyway, he enjoyed himself immensely. So it was worth it. Off to do something useful.

I'm taking a break from sewing this week as I have gr son. As the weather is awful not much chance of getting about so been doing little chores that have stacked up. I've been sorting files also ready to put onto disc ready for a marathon sew in (I hope) next week. I have craft space booked early September and need to get some cards and cushions done very quickly. Jo

Hello simplyrosie, I am busy on TP project, did some towels and a friend asked me to do some serviettes with the Christmas font from CUTE. Thanks for asking and good luck with you digitizing, Mabey someday I will try that also, don't know if it is difficult. How is your GM??

I'm half way through making a quilt for me (yes you heard right for me), I've made one for everyone else now its my husband and my turn. I've finished 40 blocks and I have 40 to go, as it is King Size.

If I get off the computer maybe I'll get some more done HA HA HA

I shouldn't even answer. I have my sewing projects on temporary hold while I am getting my house white glove clean. I have been pulling weeds for 3 weeks and sealing my concrete patio for four days. Today the carpet cleaner came and did my entire house so I have been scrubbing floors,doors, mop boards and anything else that gets in my path. I have run out of concrete sealer so it is going to have to wait to be finished while I finish cleaning out my bathroom closets. A little ambitious....yes but my son will be home from Argentina on Sept 10th and my DH will be home from Brazil for a month on Sept 8th. I just want everything perfect for the homecoming. I am also getting ready to take my daughter to U of Wyo in Laramie. It has been an interesting to do list. Thanks for asking! :o) I have missed my time on Cute though, I plan on spending a lot of time here again when things settle down in October. In the meantime I Love *, to give and receive. So Here is one for everyone.

So you are in CO for a while?

I'm half way thru a quilt for G/s. He turned 4 last week, the quilt is Pirate theme, (appliqued)

Thanks for asking, Rosie, I just finished 6 sets of towels,2 Halloween bags, a duffle bag, and 2 fleece baby blankets, all as gifts. I am heading East to take my 10 yr old GD home on Wed, and will be away from a computer for 7 days, can you imagine? I live in Amarillo, TX and she lives in W Va. Long drive. *4U

I have spent all day unzipping files and putting them in the files they belong. I think I am about half done with unzipping. Then I have to start organizing more detailed files. I hope to be done by next weekend. I may take a break here and there to make a few gifts. I got a design that says " due in November" on it with a big N that I want to stitch out on a maternity top for Sammira. Also there was another pair of $3 shorts at big lots I wanted to pick up for her and embroider. Actually I worked pretty hard on those files today I think I will take a break tomorrow and do the shorts and top for Sammi! Thanks for asking. *

Tell me about it, I tried tricking myself and created a folder called zips so I wouldn't hav eto look at them, then today I right clicked on that folder and I had 491 zips just in that folder! That isn't counting the font, holidays, flowers, animals, and who knows what else. So far I finished the zips folder now I am tackleing the other folders. UGH I'm beat, I keep saying to myself DO NOT let this happen again lol.

OHHHHHHHHHH Please do not let this happen - how can use a file - if you have it zipped and what a waste of time - do it - when you download it - put it in the folder that you want it in - to begin with - why do so much work - later on?
