strengthen as first expected, and just bring us lots and lots of rain and 30-40 mph winds. All in all not to bad. Now they don't know if it will cross the state hit the gult, strengthen and then head north. Remember the old commerical on t.v. "It's not nice to fool mother nature!" Just when you think you've got it figured out - poof - it goes another way. Well as long it keeps getting weaker I don't care. I was supposed to have surgery on my hand today but they rescheduled for friday. The sooner the better they hurt so bad now sometimes I feel like a sissy and just want to sit and cry. But then all that does is stop up my nose - so I just go and sew something --- or read from my 'cute friends'. Think warm dry thoughts . . . . . .

Karen, oh my - please stay safe and dry - I can only imagine what you must be feeling waiting longer for surgery - but it is best - you wouldn't want to be in the middle of it during any of this. Take care of yourself and know we are praying for you. *4U

My mom is having hand surgery in 8 days. It sounds like it is the same type of thing. I really hope that it helps both of you.

Oh my dear I know, I have arthritis n my hands & sometimes it's like u say u want to sit & cry, but that doesn't help. Please stay safe, Never been in hurricane but have had enough tornados to last a lifetime. Praying 4 everyone's safety that this storm may touch *4U
