hello eve welcome to cute - lots to interest you on this site as well as the friendly atmosphere.
I'm in UK and have bought threads from ABC Embroidery in USA (before it became anneboveembroidery.com) and I'm very pleased with the quality. The service was excellent, my parcel well packed and I received my threads within 2 weeks of ordering. The threads came on 1000m cops at about half the price they are here. Shipping costs were inclusive. I would be happy to order again. Unfortunately anne bove is not offering thread at the moment due to her getting new site up. I don't use Madeira - it's very expensive here and I haven't heard of Sewing and Art club so can't give an opinion. Jo
