One more peek at a Pleated Pineapple Square. It really is an easy pattern to make.

I really like the colors here. The simpler the colors the better I like it. :-)

Lovely colours! Does the "pleated" mean you sew a folded strip onto a background fabric on the end that will be covered by the next strip instead of sewing a single strip to the one before it?

Thank you. You have a square to sew each piece pattern. You start in the center. Each strip is folded in half (so it is twice what the normal log cablin pattern strip would be.) This is how it looks pleated. Each round the strips get longer until you finish the square.

This is the pineapple pattern. Using scraps, each square is a surprise. You never know how it will look until its finished.
