I do it like Rickey that works best 4 me *4U NMM Get well soon
If you are using 3D Pro - you can also open "Design Creator" and then click on the "Edit" tab -- then on the film strip on the left you can "right click" and choose insert color change and pick the color you want. You will need to find the area you want and add the color change just before it. I think this will work for you -- I use 4D pro and this works for me.
these are good answers and your question was good......thanks *4u
If there are two color stops you can change them. By using your 3D software click on the color that you want to change, and it will take you to the color choices. Make your choice and say OK, it will then change to your chosen color. If there is not a color stop you would have to watch the design really close and change it where you want the color change. Get well, Sweetie, and hope the answers you get help with your questions.
If there are two difference color stops you can using the 3D. Otherwise, it would be very difficult to do. Try stitching out a sample and notice what the stitch number is for the area you want to change. That way you can try to catch it when the other part of the design starts.
I don't know how to do it digitizing, but I stop my machine and change thread and start again. I run it thru simulator to see the thread counts and where to stop and start. Hope this helped, I know my way is probably the hard way lol BTW check back to my TP Q. *
