Lillian - any time that you make FSL - you always use WSS - do this project - like you would any other FSL project - if you want to back them with felt - stitch around them - after you have finished - if you are thinking of just using felt - do that instead of the WSS - I guess - I have never needed anything to back a single coaster that I have made and feel that it takes away from the look of a lovely piece of work --- lace is lace and if you want to change it - then it will not be lace it will be a design of felt - you know what I mean? Hehehe! Shirlene

Shirlener I have stitched it out just usind 2 layers of wss, but it doesn't look to me that it would b very absorbent with just the lace. but you're the expert so I'll just not put a backing on. Thank U much I'll post when I finish *4U
