OMG! Girl you are a wealth of info. We actually have WalMart up here. I do miss Target but make do. Thanks for all your info. Will check it out. Hope it has the right kind of tip.
Forgot to mention that I have searched and can't find the project now. After 2 hrs of searching I gave up. I really do have a life outside of CUTE. LOL

MissCharlie! What a gal! Just what I was looking for. Now I have to get myself a soldering tool and I'm ready to go. Thanks so much. As you can see I've been searching for this since August.

Can you post the link to the project so I have a better idea of what it looks like and maybe be able to search it out?
I am obsessed with finding out how to do this. Has anyone found out anything on this technique?
Adali, if you read this would you mind sending me a PM? I would really love to know how this is done and can't find the process online. Thanks.... Mickey
this is a very good question, I saw it too, dont know anything about it, and the instructionbook is not for sale in Dutch or in the netherlands.*4u
I'm STILL hunting online and can only find books. How is a girl supposed to figure out if she wants to try something without first finding out what it's all about? I'm not willing to spend $20 on a book I might never use. Anyone else have this same mind set?
I sent adali a pm in the hopes of finding out how this works. I've been searching the internet for 2 1/2 days and still can't find anything out. Just books to buy. Looks like I'll have to break down and buy a book and if it's something I don't want to do I'll be out the 20 plus dollars. I haven't given up yet. Will keep up the search.
Mickey I saw the project u mentioned & thought it was beautiful but it was way out of my scope. I don't know a thing about it but hope u learn & share the knowledge because I thought it was so very beautiful *
I think (hope) it's easier than it looks. Will let you know what I find out.
What a great question, I had no idea either, thanks for the information ladies you are all the best...*4everyone
I will try to tell you the little I know about fusing fabrics. You need a sheet of glass under your work and I have seen a demo using a soldering iron. The best fabrics to fuse are synthetics, because they melt with the heat and fuse well. Just layer your fabrics on a cotton backing and use the soldering iron to burn patterns, holes, shapes, etc. Be careful not to burn yourself in the process. It is almost like doing applique with a soldering iron. Hope this makes sense!! *4U
i know nothing about it but will this help a tutorial
I'm also waiting for the anwer.........found books only. 84u
Good question, I also could only find books, so I am waiting for answers as well. Someone will certainly be able to tell us more.
