Very nice. It is great to see how an idea comes about. One little spark and someone can think of a multitude of things. Good job on the Recycle.
Very nice misscharlie, I use a lot of my old dishtowels 4 rags that my hubby asks 4 to use outside in shop & garage. I bet I could salvage some pieces out of them next time. good idea & they look great. *
Very clever. We need to recycle more. Sometimes the recycled looks even better than the original. (like some of those gals embroidering over holes) :)
I agree, we live in a "disposable" society. I have enough rags, never enough coasters! lol *
Very clever and good recycling. More of us need to do that. Did you put anything on the back that would take the heat should you use them as pot holders?
I think too small for pot holders, just lid lifters to take a peek in the pot. I spose you could dbl up the towel or use a felt backing. *
great way to get second life from something that could have been thrown out Jo
Someone asked me two days ago what could be done with a pile of old nappies (diapers), could they be made into teatowels. I did think so, but now I now. Would make an awful lot of coasters. Great idea and lovely execution Miss Charlie!
tyvm! It makes my heart flutter that I inspired someone else from Lillian's inspiration! *
This is a very clever idea. They look great. *4U
This is a great idea. I see you have used the varigated thread, and it looks great!
way to recycle
TY now I will buy the towels at Salvation Army, and recycle those too. 2 birds with one stone *
