My mom had one like this and had a hard time trying to give it away a few years ago now. Wish I had it but wasn't living back there at the time. Bummer. *4u Beautiful doily...........
Thank you. Yes they are in "vogue" at the moment. I was very lucky as my mother-in-law bequeathed me hers.
Looks just perfect with the lovely family pictures. *
Sew Beautiful together. What a treasure. I came close to buying a tredle machine in Brazil. It turn out to be not in very good condition. I will continue my quest though. I had one 20 years ago. I am sure sorry I got rid of it. I could make a doily for it if I had one.
Thank you. There was a part on top of the machine that was lifting off. My husband sanded it all down and kept the sanded stuff and glues it over the part that lifted off. You wouldn't know at all. What a clever man.
I did have 2 of those old singers.Sold them many years ago
Thank you. What a shame. They make them into Coffee tables now.AND that is a shame. They usually sell for around $300 Aust.
I love Antique! Flowers for you
thank you. From what we can gather the machine was made in 1928. It still has the original oil can, book and assorted feet.Mum was a little taken back when ,when she asked what I wanted out of the house and I said her machine. She thought it was funny as I had my first Computerised machine. My children and the nieces, had fun on it -peddling like mad when it sat on her verandah. (Belt off , of course )
