Go to sewmanydesigns.com and click on "Free machine embroidery designs." They have all kinds of freebies, including lots of sports balls. Another good, related site is "embroideryrndesigns.com." Many, many great designs for free!

I have some free ones that I picked up at www.freebielover I haven't used them yet, so I don't know if they are good yet. They have new designs every 10 or 12 minutes. I have also picked some up at embroideryisfree.com and embroideryfriend.com I hope that this helps.
