Snow Lady has a number of this type of designs scattered thoughout her site
Thanks so much for asking this question. I've decided to buy a couple of the ones at Dainty Stitches to sew on towels for my sister's birthday in January. So, you have helped me decide very early what to get for her. Welcome to the Cute Family. Remember whenever you ask a question you are usually helping someone else as well. :-) *4u
welcome to cute tiggy - looks like you have the answer to your question, there are lots of very experienced sewers here to point you in the right direction Jo
Take a look at the site I will post below. I specifically went to look for the crocheted ladies designs to make a pillowcase similar to some my mother had made. I found these made by cindy Losekamp, but I have not stitched them out. I have the skirts of one that my mother or grandmother had made, and I wanted the lady to stitch so that I could use the crocheted skirt. I want to take my time for this is something that will be passed to my daughters.
At www.emblibrary.com,they have a set of victorian ladies, where you add the skirt.Search for victorian or victorian ladies. There is also a free pdf download that shows making a fancy skirt for one of the ladies. The link is from the design page.

Hi, Tiggy, and welcome to the Cute Family!!! Now, I'm old, so bear with me. I had a set of pillowcases like this as a child, my mom embroidered the lady, then cut out the skirt portion and actually filled the hole with a beautiful crocheted skirt. They're about 55 years old, and I still have them, kept safely of course. So I do remember seeing these once and thinking of my Mom's work. Now, I THINK it may have been somewhere on Oregon Patchworks Mall. Closer than that I can't get. Try the designers with something like 'vintage' in their names, perhaps. Like you, I know they're out there somewhere, I have seen them. Best of luck!! Marji
Well, I can't help you, sorry, but I'm marking this answer to see them, too because I know someone here has your answer.;)
