I will post a few photos for your enjoyment . This is the voted nation's #1 arts and crafts show and the largest with over 500 booths of artist and crafters. The crafters do not want any photos taken and I was told more than once not to make a picture, so enjoy the ones I sneaked !!! I'm sorry there were quilts that I wish I could have taken a photo but was unable to. The lady at the bird house display gave me permission to take photo because the friend with me purchased one of her houses. These were unique. Enjoy!!!

I did. I would have stayed longer, but my friend had to babysit her grand children, so we left early.

Oh! we were so close. I live about 40 minutes north east of there. I used to live much closer and my daughter worked summers there at the River Boat location when she was in high school. All the kids loved to work there. At night the River Boat had private and corporate parties and the employees wanted to work those parties.

Kay, I guess you didn't have a display up - then? I love these sort of craft shows and you know why people take pictures - so that they can make them for themselves - Hehehe! Thanks!

Yes, one man was quite angry. It was the place with all the "Yard Junk". No display for me, I'm not that prolific. These people work all year around making these things.

What fun! I'm going to see if DH will go with me tomorrow! My traveling friend is gone for the week, so will have to take hubby!

Hubby will get hot and tired before you are ready to leave. My sweetie phoned his son while we were stalled in traffic trying to get in and asked him to remind him next year to not do this again. maybe by next year he won't remember. He's getting old you know. We had another couple with us so he couldn't turn around and leave. The biggest improvement they have made is providing the transportation to and from the parking lots. I posted a photo of transportation.

Me too! I understand they have a big Christmas thing going on during the holidays. The big hotel ball rooms are nice place for wedding receptions too.

The roofs were made from old metal ceiling tiles and on the front they used old door knobs and faucets. A lot of work in each one. The couple that made them were from Mississippi or Louisiana, I think.
