This is actually rather disgusting, but funny in its irrelevance and unexpectedness. You can not judge a site by the adds, since they pick up key words like a search engine. You also find good companies advertised on bad sites. Where you have free speech, you can post almost anything, and you try to ignore what is not acceptable to you personally. I have seen things that were absolutely shocking to me that I would not repeat. I do a lot of research for my work, and have seen much of the unexpected.
Excuse the typo - it should be ads not adds. I did not know if the edit feature would place another complete posting; so did not want to try.
I didn't get the ad either. But I am still laughing over you first sentence. I would have liked to have seen the ad to see if it help up to itself. Still laughing in Texas, Eric
OK I'm so sorry, but I have read your title to your post like 6 times and everytime it makes me laugh. I have a hunch it is partly because I had a cpl drinks at the bday party, but the majority is it's just too funny. I am hoping that by posting something I will get it out of my system um sorta, to be honest I like to laugh. A lot. Sorry *
No nudity, thankfully! But was a bit of a shock. Would NEVER have though the word "Chubby" would bring that in as an ad!Guess we all have to be careful these days..seems the world has a different idea of what words mean than I do! I avoid all ads, too. I too think Google wouldn't care one bit! But I sure won't be going to anything advertised by Google...like they care if I do or not!
Ok, I went there, got "Free Chubby Dating" on the right, and under it it says "Ads by Google". I would think contacting Google would be your only recourse on this type of thing, and I somehow doubt they'd care. Best of luck, Marji
So sorry, that just struck me so funny, I'm still giggling! No, I don't think I got that ad. I never pay any attention to the ads anyway, so I'm not sure. The site owners unfortunately have no control over what ads pop up. If you want your site advertised, or to be able to be found by Google, etc., then you agree to their ads on your site. These 'search engines' pick a word, then so-called 'relevant' ads pop up. You're probably right, the word 'chubby' was the trigger, but 'gay chubby dating'? Sorry, sounds like something off of Saturday Night Live, hee hee hee. I can't quit giggling. I surely hope it was not too offensive, with nudity or anything. I don't even know who you would report this to. But Veronika has nothing to do with the ads that pop up randomly. Have a nice evening. Marji
No, I had no problems and got the message okay. But I noticed my comments and the flower I left were gone. Had to redo....
