Very pretty! I almost thought it was a Magen David... (Star of David). Lovely!
thank you for all your comments and inspiration to try TPs. This design is indeed from the brother Christmas card and I used a gold colour polyester thread. When I started to sew I though it would be too dense for paper but it came out ok.Shirlene I'm hopeless at getting the price right for my work and from comments on earlier post re lillians charity TP sew in, I'm not charging enough - around US$4 - £1.95sterling, but I do have to pitch it to what my customers will pay and I'd rather sell it a bit lower and as long as I recover costs, I sew for the challenge and pleasure. I do craft sales mainly from this time of the year onwards up until Christmas. My cards I sell through out the year and they are in several local shops. I do give embroidered items to family and friends for birthdays etc too. *4U all Jo
Jo, thank you for the additional info - I do like the way that you do it - better to have it sold - than not at all - Hehehe!
great work - tell us some more about your craft sale? What are you charging for something like this?
I am making toilet paper covers also. The snowflake looks elegant. Do you remember where you got it?
