She's going to have a booth at the H.S. football games I don't have a clue as to what to charge, I usually give my things away unless it's something real large I'm asked to do & I'll just say I want so much to do it. I'm not going to charge anything to do it & daughter says she'll byt the thread & ribbons but what to wrap it n? I usually use tulle for all mine. What do U think ? Help me out. No idea what to charge per roll.

Wow that's alot of Tp,what a great thing for you to do for your daughter and the school. You can sometimes find some very nice treat bags or other types of bags at the dollar stores.I wish you much luck and let us know how it goes.*4u

I hope that you were able to get some help with this. I know that for fund raisers that $8-$10 should be fine. I have found that usually if it is for a team like that, that you can usually get a little more for the items. I bought the cello bags at walmart - and paid under $2 for them. I also get the TP at Sam's or BJ's and not certain what each roll would average, but a good quality TP. I want to hear of what you have decided, for was asked about aproject for soccer teams for GD's.

I use cello bags and tie with wraphia. Wraphia comes in rolls and several colors...looks like raphia, but is like a plasticish material and comes in a shiny finish. I usally blend two colors of the wraphia together...colors that blend with the design. Looks nice tied to the cello bag. And...I think you can do 100 without too many problems. I usually stitch out 24 rolls at a time for my shows...100 rolls should not be too bad!

Liilian, what a task you are taking on - charge as much as you believe that they will pay - this is a fund raiser after all - they will all want one - once they see them - use the cute gift bags - that so many of the others have suggested - just tie with a pretty ribbon and drop your name and number at the bottom for a repeat customer - it may be something that works out great for you - I myself - would never attempt that many rolls of toilet paper for anything - but you are better at this than I am. Hehehe! Enjoy it and go get some funds for that HS Library!

Boy are you going to be busy! I think $5 would probably be the better price..I am always of the opinion that I'd rather make a little less money and sell them ALL than have a bunch of left overs! If you are buying a lot, your daughter may be able to get the tax exempt number from the school and get the supplies tax free. I know Ala. tax is not as high as Tenn., but it's high enough! I think they will sell at that price just for the unique appeal!!

I would charge $10-$15 depending on the design. Clear cellophane tied with ribbon or raffia (again depending on the design). I buy ribbon by the roll because it's so much cheaper that way. J had a great idea about putting in a business card. If you don't want to do that you could type up info on the computer, print them out on a sheet of lables and stick on the bottom. That's what I do. Good luck and I know you'll help make tons of money.

Miss Lill, it's a fund raiser....they will pay more so I would charge $8.00 to $10.00....see what others are selling and at what price. Walmart sells celophane by the roll and you can get clear with white polka dots, or just plain clear...really cute. I buy ribbon by the spool at Hobby Lobby usually take one of the 40% off coupons that come in the newspaper, but you can get the coupon on-line. I don't know if tulle is cheaper or not, I would just compare price . Drop one of your business cards down in the wrapping and you may get some paying work out of it. ;)

I know you can get the 12 dbl rolls at Big Lots for $5 and it embroiders fine that's what I use. Walmart sells cellophane goodie bags 20 for under $2, they have silver twist ties. I would say $2.50 - $5.00 per roll depending on design, thread chnges, and time.

I saw a roll on a site for $10.00 and that was the one with the 3 frogs. But I think that was way too high.

good luck with your 100 rolls of TP lillian - what a task! I've been using florist cellophane wrap which comes on a roll cutting to size and using gift ribbon to tie the top. I don't know what to suggest you charge though I think I may not be charging enough for my TPs --£1.95 English which is roughly US$4, but I can only charge what my market will stand. JO

Elaine 45 told me she buys Cello bags at Michael's. I bought some yesterday. They are called Treat Bags, 5"x11.25" and come 20 in a bag for $2.99. That would be $15. for your 100 rolls. I am doing TP covers. Making out of felt 18"x4 1/2" and putting Velcro on each end. The two in this photo I wrapped in clear cellophane and tied craft ribbon on top. I thought it was too much trouble to tape up the bottom. I am going to ask $8.00 for it. If they don't sell, I will make them cheaper. What do you think??

What about using the "saran" wrap? Ya know * plastic you cover a bowl that ya can't find the lid for???? That would be real cheap if ya have a aldi's store around...You could go to the "party" store for the ribbon, they have Large spools. I agree with the other girls..$5.00. How bout using the initials of the school, in the school colors...like EHS in an athletic font? :) *4U

How do you do that. It is beautiful. Do you actually embroider the toilet paper or is it a wrap of some sort.

Thanks Cloey

What a terrific contribution you are making for the fund-raiser. I have seen a type of cellophane that people have used for wrapping odd-shaped gifts (like a basket), but frankly, I don't know what that goes for in a store, nor if you'd find it at WalMart or a party store. Tulle still might be the best way. Blessings!

Always heard $1.00 per 1000 stitches lbrow, but never having done TP don't know for sure...if it is a fund raiser you might get better than $ 5.00, see what everyone else comes up with... good luck ...
