My boss (company CEO) had an appointment with a company at the towers that morning.
For many worrying hours, we didn't know, here in Australia, if he was alive or dead.
We also didn't know the CEO he was meeting with had postponed the meeting to the next day.
Yes, it touched many people around the world, and I still cry for the tragic loss of lives, every time I see the clips played. blessings to all, Meganne
Why does it take a tragic thing to bring us together? I am thankful for cuteembroidery that is "together" and supportive all the time! That day on 9/11 my second grand daughter was 4 days old...a bright spot in an otherwise dark spot in US history.
That was the day we buried my mother. The world seems to stand still on a day like that, there's the loss and the memories and nothing else. When we eventually entered the restaurant the family were having dinner, the television was on, full blast, early diners standing in front of it. My father broke down completely when he saw the second tower go down. I'll always remember, personal and universal grief.
That was a horrible shocking day,but it did unite us.I said a prayer for all those whom lost their lives, for the ones whom lost their loved ones and for all the brave men and women whom are serving now and have served to keep us all safe. We should remember and honor them all.
All of our hearts were broken that day. My son who is in the Navy is at the Pentagon 9/11 memorial right now.
Yes, indeed! I was in front of a classroom full of students that day when we were told.
Yes we should all remember how we felt seven years ago today. We were Umited and should remember that day in our hearts today and forever.
Our thoughts are with all of you out there all over the world! Mary, Melbourne
It is funny how your mind goes back to where you where when you heard the news that day. I remember all the music on the radio about it, and all the stories being told. I don't think we will ever forget.
Our thoughts are on this day as well, even here in Canada...*4U
