Very pretty, you did a great job. She will treasure it for a long time to come. My daughter received one from her Aunt. It is in a shadow box and looks great on the wall!

wOW I Love the edges! How do u sew the edge and then "insert" the "cord"? I'm new to sewing too! Thanks!

The cord is sewn on before the pillow is put together.

Well fancy that, I have spent all day making a wedding pillow with the same colourings. The bridesmades will be the same colour. And I nearly picked the same design you have in the middle. We must be on the same wave link at the moment. lol. I will post it when it is finished. It is for my step daughters wedding on the 20th of this month.
