He looks good. A nut cracker like the one you have done is a wooden doll like thing and as you opened and closed his legs i think his mouth would open and you would put a wallnut or such in his mouth and as you closed it it would close his mouth and break the shell of the nut. You have done a great job with him.

I think you do know what a nutcracker is, because you made one. I think they are from Germany originally. My daughter collects them and uses them to decorate with during the Holidays. If you don't have anyone to stitch him out, I would be glad to.

You put a nut in his mouth and slam it shut and he cracks the hull. This one is just for decoration (hee hee) and he is quite handsome!;)

He looks great. You are going right to town with your designs. I think you're having too much fun. A nutcracker is vise of various sorts that you remove the hard shell from nuts such as walnuts. Most of this type are decorative however, I think most are also functional.

yes your right that is a nut cracker. They are made out of many different designs thou. When I was in Germany you could get different ones. I've never seen one in an embroidery pattern before. I like it.
