the table? Also maybe a small trinket for them to take home. I saw a teabag holder design somewhere, but I don't remember where. Either something like that or another idea? Thanks!

I don't know when the event will be, but please don't forget to take pictures, and share with us what your table looked like. Or, if you don't want to do that, let us see what you make. It is so much fun, seeing others creations. ;)

That rose is beautiful, add a pin and it will be a great take home :) I think I'd like to try it in several different shades of pink ?!? Or maybe a verigated thread in pink???

Just to make sure everyone knows, the link I provided came directly from the main site. Here is the link to the product page for sale. It wasn't related to the yahoo group at all.

Heather that is beautiful - not sure that you should have shared that link - as you have to be a member of that yahoo group to get to it. But I like the use of it for your tea. How many do you have to make?

I got it directly from the main site. It was a sample offered at the end of the page.

Here is a rose idea although it is not a long stemmed rose. Also thought of nut cups as their take home gift. You could fill the nut cup with flavored tea bags. Hope you have fun. Becky

My mom was thinking about a victorian rose theme for our table. We only have to worry about eight people. Other people have other tables they are in charge of. If they want to 'show off' as you say, that is up to them. I don't mind letting people see what I can do. I also have a little bit of competitive blood in me. "My table is better than your table."

So maybe knowing what theme I am looking for will help get a few more ideas. I really like what you have come up with so far. Is there any place that I could get a FSL rose bud? Maybe I could have a 'long stem rose' for each of our table guests?

I remember a long time ago seeing something that had to do with teabags, but I can't recall where. But I think that it is a good idea. I can't wait to see what other cuties suggest. I like the idea of the coasters. There are some very pretty freebies for coasters in different sites. But how many would you have to make? How many people are you expecting. Our church is too big for us to consider making something like this. It would wear our machines out. LOL * 4U Keep us posted with what you choose to do, and if you don't mind... maybe you could share a few pictures! Enjoy

I've been thinking bout this all morning :) What about some FSL butterflies on florist wire amonst the table flower arrangment? (bud vase or other) It would look like they are floating if ya use really thin wire :)?
