Sometimes as a last resort I simply applique over the mess I made & no one is the wiser nless they look behind *4U
You have inspired me. I have a t-shirt just sitting with a "few mistakes" on it. I plan to make lemon-aid out of that one too.
But it turned out lovely! What a way to learn.. hope it never happens again!
Well you did good! Now all your other projects will seem like a piece of cake!
Had one of these myself early in my embroidery life and know just what you mean. BUT, don't you feel great about yourself when it is done and looks this great? Congrats....
Thank you and yes I was determined to save this shirt even tho I could have made 3 or 4 in the time it took to save this one.I was feeling pretty great until the marker didn't disapear. Then I was like I don't beleive this and scrubed alot.
Can't tell by looking it had/has problems! I'll bet the princess loves it!
Well, I'm sure you did learn a lot from this one. From here it looks very nice. It isn't a complete loss. I'll be the princess loves her T-shirt. :-)
yes I definately learned not to rush because it doesn't really save time when things like this happens and you have to spend way too much time fixing.
One question - are you ready to tackle another one? You did a good job despite your problems.
It is very pretty. Looking at it, you would never say you had any problems. *4U
The shirt looks great, I could never notice you had such problems. Maybe this can help you next time - I sew a lot and for the marks I always use ordinary soap. It just has to be thin and to scent great :)
You did a great job with your cover-up! The shirt looks wonderful! *4U
Looks great to me and if you didn't tell us the nightmare we would never have known.
What a nitemare! We all have days and or projects like that I guess. Sure keeps us in our places! lol great work *
