I thought I would go into detail, but I really am a bit speechless. I'm a different person now than I was 10 years ago. Just remember to go get those mamograms done every year. It's so important not only to you, but to your loved ones.

It's wonderful how many cancer survivors we have out there. When I was a kid, I had 3 uncles that had and died from cancer. It didn't take long either. Two or three years and they were gone. We are so lucky to have been born at the time we have been. I guess it keeps getting better and better. God bless you and yours. :-) *4u

Fantastic. Every year I tell myself...this squashing pain is nothing compared to cancer! I know you will have many more years to be a great spokes person for mamograms! Well done!

Your aunt is in my prayers. She is headed for a rough road, but she can get through it. I met one woman that faced cancer 4 times. She had a good attitude about it and I think that is what helped her through it. Since you have 2 aunts that have battled cancer, please take extra special care of yourself and don't skip any mamograms. Also ask your doctor to show you how to do a proper self exam. It isn't just checking your breasts. You breast tissue covers more area than you would think. God bless you. *4u

Mamograms are VERY IMPORTANT, I only missed one, in 2005, when I wbt to get it at the wnd of 2006, cancer was found and had a double mastectomy on Janurary 2007, I am still having complications from the surgery and the medicenes I have to take every day...Maybe God let me be a survivor too! PLEASE GET YOUR MAMOGRAMS,,,******

Maria, I have after affects too. Everyday I have to put up with my right arm swelling up and message it to bring the swelling down. That's where they need to do more research. So that we aren't reminded daily of the pain that we went through. I have often wondered if the chemo was worth it. It seems to have caused so much permenant damage. One thing good though. I had a head of grey hair, it grew back dark. lol I wish you all the best and I pray for you. Even though you had a double, you still need to get checked. Lots of hugs. *4u

I hope I do help others get through the many trials of cancer, remind others to get checked and enjoy life. It's short and should be a pleasure. *4u
