oho Megann I found U. Welcome to the cute fmly. we r proud to have U with us. You've had a very good sampling of what this site is all about. A way to make your apron, a place to get a pattern & a lot of friendly welcomes. We r an affable group we love sewing, embroidering & it's pretty evident we love one another. we'll help anyway we can. We love to give flowers, they kinda take the place of real hugs & hope they make u feel good, cause it makes us feel good to give them to u . Hope U r here to stay. *4U

Welcome to our Cute Family! Uhh, pattern? I'm way too old, learned sewing from my mother, we just made stuff up as we went along. I would bet that Simplicity patterns has one, though. Best of luck to you finding one, I'm glad to see women wearing aprons again, hee hee hee. Marji

When I want to make an apron I grab a bath towel make a fancy cutout on the top 1/3, bind all around the cut section, attach ties to the widest part at the top of the bottom 2/3 and attach ties at the top of the bib section to tie around the neck. 10 minutes, one very versatile bib apron.
Hugs n Roses, and a big hearty welcome to the Cute family,
Meganne (in Australia)

That sounds so easy....I already have my fabric but I could lay a towel down and cut it out..Thanks for the tip...

The beauty of using a bath towel is it doubles as a great hand towel while you're cooking etc. so you make yourself one (or more)aprons for each day of the week and of course you can also embroider pretty monograms and things on them. <VBG>
