Just a thought... are you sure it WASN'T your machine's tension playing up? Or some other problem like stabiliser or hooping?
Pity you couldn't just increse the pull compensation.

Sorry, if it was an Embird design you would need to go to the original stitch file created before the final design format file. eg, when creating a design in Embird it saves the design as an .EOF, and when you're finished digitising and leave that section of the program, only then does it save the design in the normal design formats: pes; jef; hus. etc. If I need to make major changes I don't open the design format file, but go back and open the .EOF file as if I'd never saved it in design format. Does this make sense for your program?

That is the same in Masterworks. When creating you use the .BLF extension and then save into the .PES. I always save both files. This time the .BLF just won't let me change it. Guess I will have to start all over. Lot of work, just wish I could learn what I did wrong for the next time. It has turned out so pretty just needs adjusting on the tension in the dress and shoes. Thanks

It is the same with the Janome Digitizer Pro. It's file is JAN then I save it to pes and jef, but always keep the original in case I need to make changes.

Thanks but I have been working on this all day and I am at a loss. My brain is fried. :) I have even been trying to watch the BSU vs OR game to get my mind off it. hahahaha--We're winning!!!!! But still at a loss on the design.

I don't know how baby lock software works, maybe someone who has it will know. Sounds like you are in the color program, Try selecting all and then click on design and it should let you use all the functions. Good luck sweetie.

I can click on each segment of my design but my buttons to adjust or change the pattern in that segment won't light up for me to use. I can only change the color. It is acting like it is a PES files. I am so baffled. Never happened before.

When you save it to .PES can you open the .PES file w/ masterworks and make adjustments then?

After you have saved the file in .PES, the only adjustment you can make is a change in colors. Design changes cannot be made. That is why you always save it as a .BLF and .PES. I have always been able to go back to my .BLf file and make any adjustments after my test stitching.

What software do you use, I've no idea what a .blf file is. The one between your artwork and the stitchfile, I presume?

.BLF = Babylock File. It is the extension I use in my Masterworks program to digitize. Then I save it into .PES so that my Esante sewing machine will stitch it.

marymoore by marymoore 20 Sep 2008

ok are you auto or manual digitizing it and where do you need it changed

dkjack by dkjack 20 Sep 2008

I manually digitize. I need to change the density but none of my stitch buttons are highlighted so I can use them. I can only change colors. Really weird.
