I have been wanting to make some of these for my baby grandsons. They are so cute.
Very nice. I have been thinking of doing this with some of my stitch outs. I was unsure how to assemble them into a book though. I did not want to stitch the spine, since it might get too thick. It looks like you used button holes to put the pages together. This has inspired me to get busy!

How Cute! I love the idea of color and shape books. Loved the designs you choose. Great job.
This is a great idea, you did a wonderful job. I'm sure your grandsons will love them.
Wonderful job. That black cat is so cute! I like the idea of binding them together by making buttonholes.
ibht2k2, this is wonderful - great job - so the designs are from different web sites and you have just picked the ones that you wanted in the book? Did you stitch a little eyelet hole for the binding? How did you create this - give us the detials - come on - PLEASE????
Thank you!
Designs are from different sites. I stitched them on muslum, put the designs back to back and put batting in between. That way, my grandson can chew on it and it can be washed without loosing its shape. I made 3 button holes on each page and strung the pages together with ribbon. You can also use rings from the stationary store. If you use ribbon it must be shorter than 6 inches so baby can't strangle on it if he gets it untied.
