Okay, I'm still learning about this external hard drive. If I have designs in my computer, how do I move them to the external hard drive? I want everything together there. THANKS :O)

Do you unplug them? I have been backing up on CD's also, but I have been thinking if I unplug it when I'm not using it, it should help - right? *

I will be more faithful at burning mine. I haven't been leaving it on, or plugged in thinking that would help. But now I'm noticing that I have things saved on my computer that I don't have on the ExHD. I must be a slow learner. I'm trying. Thanks for your help. :o)

send yourself a reminder in your email set it to every week that way it helps to remember

you will do a copy and paste to your new hard drive if you need more help I would be glad to help you do not try to move them copy instead that way if anything happens they are still in your C drive after you check that they have moved properly you can delete off your C drive. always make sure you have saved a back up of your designs so if your drivers ever die for any reason you have them on disk, cd, dvd or flash drive which ever is best for you.
