Right now a lot of places having sales, no advices on discount etc too? Thanks
My first stop has always been ebay. Threads, stablizer, patterns everything and anything you need at pretty good prices. Depends on the seller. In the past 9 years I have only had 1 problem and ebay solved that one for me and it was over 5 years ago. I have a large supply of threads from M & K, a whole roll of stablizer that only cost me $12 and patterns galore. It's worth a look.
I buy whever I can I'm always checking fabric stores if I go anywhere, I buy stabalizers from Walmart a lot , buy off ebay & but at a fabric store not far from me that's privately owned. *4U
You have some good ideas of where to start. I use Shopper's Rule a lot, but have just put in my first order for the 5500m spools from BFC. Since the designs that they do are so beautiful - I thought that I would give them a try. They are sure less expensive than the Viking store I used to get my supplies from. I just tried something new - or at least to me it is. The stabilizer is called tear away/wash away. I used it on the top of the sweater that I did for my daughter's birthday, and it did very nicely for the front. I just tore it away, and did not even have to dampen the sweater. I buy most stabilizers from Shoppers Rule. Hope you find a place that you will love to go back to.
Terradon Embroidery has the cheapest price for Marathon thread...1000 meters for $1.75US. I use this thread quite often and never have any trouble with it.
ShoppersRule.com for stabilizers and t-shirt.
MarathonUSA.com for thread.
abc-machine-embroidery-designs.com for matching color bobbins.
I tend to buy product from this site...
