very beatiful work roslyn.where did you get the roses from? they are stunning.hilary
Thank you Hildary. The Roses are from Zundt and they were modified to fit the idea of the cloth. Did you see the full photo of the Cloth ?
Dear roslyn,
Brisbane is a liitle far, but I would join a class with you anytime. I had to wait almost a week to get a close look (timeout probs) It was worth the wait - abselutly georgeous!
You have outdone yourself with this! It is gorgeous!
Lots of work here. Sure to become an heirloom!! Beautiful!! Kay
cute tablecloth, I cannot believe it is home made.

WOW, WOW, WOW, HOW LONG DID THIS TAKE YOU? BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you . About 100 hours I had to do a bit of unpicking as I had the centre roses in the wrong place The lace would have covered the embroidery. I measured it wrong. There is a pink cloth somewhere in the uploads as well as the full picture of this red one. The outside lace I did for a tablerunner with sweetpeas posted last week. Glad you like
What a gorgeous table linen you've done. I'm particularly fond of roses too& your work on it is spectacular. Thanks for sharing your heirloom project.:~D

Roslyn This is very beautiful your should be very proud of what you have done Judy
thank you Judy. I get so much pleasure out of all my finished items. I can't seem to stop sewing. Goodness knows what I'm going to do with it all. I must admit my friends and family have benefitted from my projects

This is so gorgeous, I must bow down to you! It is the most beautiful tablecloth I have ever seen! I hope it isn't just sitting on a shelf, it must be out to be seen & admired. Maybe you can find some super-thin clear plastic that you could lay over it, so it doesn't get anything on it. It is an heirloom creation! I love it! Tammy
Thank you Tammy. Do sorry to inform you BUT it is in my" linen press" (cupboard) and hasn't been used yet. BUT I do have a pink one posted here as well that I have used
This is beautiful. I love roses and lace and you've combined the two things I love the most (in embroidery) into something amazing. *4U

I have been searching through all of the projects and haven't found much cutwork. This is fabulous!! I have a few little designs, and haven't tried them yet, just wanted to see some photos first. I love this!!!! Thank you for sharing your work. ~Carolyn~
Thank you Carolyn. THIS is lace. I have done some cutwork previously. I made this a couple of years ago
I guess you know how much lace I have done as well,LOL. I just got my embroidery machine in March 2010 so I have alot to learn yet. I will have to research how you assembled the lace to the material. Once again, I look for your projects, your work is soooooo beautiful! ~Carolyn~

I think around 100. not sure as I had to do a bit of "backward sewing" Made a "boo boo" Thank you
Glad to know that I'm not the only one who does a lot of backward sewing!! LOL. *4U
Yes shirley, I'm know in sewing circles as " the great Unpicker" Been know to unpick WHOLE designs Like the Rose from the centre of this cloth.or should I say ROSES . Teaches me patience, makes me slow down a bit ( sometimes)
Rossie, this is spectacular - I love it and have just the table for it. Hehehe!
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful table cloth. This close up makes me want it even more.
Wow, you can see why it took you that many hours... So that is cut work???? It`s beautiful... more *4u
Thank you , NO it's not classed as cut work Just lace you sew the lace pieces on and then cut out the fabric behind. I suppose you could say cut work-but not really the usual way
