...speaking of metalic thread...do you use a metalic needle in machine ? or jus the regular embroidery needle???

When using metallic thread I always use metallic needle. I'm going to try Jrob suggestion of a peanut though, sounds like a winner *

Ti also use metallic needle, and with some types of thread have to slow speed of machine.

Thanks for asking. I never thought about it. I haven't used metalic thread yet. I can't slow down my machine so it will be interesting to see how mine does.

I always use metallic needle and if you machine allows you to control the stitching speed slow it down.

I use a regular needle. Just slow down the machine a little to prevent the thread from breaking.
