TWO WOLVES:

One evening an old Cherokee Indian told his Grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought for a minute, and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Love it! How did the lady share it with your Bible School? I would like to do the same with mine.

She told of an elderly who had a Black & white dog who lived n him. Black 4 bad white 4 good. How he behaved when the black was fed & how he behaved when the white was fed. How if u keep feeding the white & not the black, then the black gets very weak, & can't make u b bad. she told us how to feed the white dog, with reading our bibles everyday, going to S.S. & church on Sun., helping our moms & dads at home, obeying our parents, being kind to everyone, playmates & older people, doing our best n school. children n those days did not know of the evil n this world today, No TVs few telephones, we'd never heard of drugs. But Miss Pearl told us how they bound baby girls feet & showed us a tiny shoe of a woman who was 50 yrs. old. How they were forbidden to do so many things& were killed for becoming christians. How they worshiped their ancestors & didn't believe n
God. Their emperor was a god to them. I could go on & on. Hope u have a great bible school.

So very true, Jerrilyn I heard this put in a similar way as a very young girl n Bible School many yrs ago by a missionary who was home on leave from China. Her name was Miss Pearl Todd I was around 10 yrs old so that was about 60 yrs ago she made a lasting impression I never saw or heard anything about her after that week of Bible School but she has come to my mind many times n all these yrs. This would have been n the 40s & if u know anything of China u know what it must have been like for a single woman missionary there She was n her 60s at that time & had been raised over there by missionary parents. We never know how we may impress some one *4U
