I want to make an "I spy" toy bag. Where do you get the little white pieces inside and are there any free patterns?

It looks a great idea, i would keep it out of reach of small children , the small toys, rice, beans would be a choking hazard. Five years+ maybe OK

for lbrow - here is picture of I spy bag -- basically just a little bag you make and fill with dry rice or beans and add little trinkets for kids to look for by "mooshing" around with their fingers! It has a clear vinyl window on one side to see thru to find the items. Often people attach a list of items that are in the bag for the kids to try to find.

Ok, here you go -- 1st link is free tutorial on how to make them.

Second Link is where to purchase some cute "made in hoop" ones and also items to put in them!

Hope this helps you! Have fun!!!!

Also, for the filler inside - can use dry rice or beans or purchase filler from JoAnns or Michaels I think. Then add your items to look for.

Thank you so much for this info. Much confusion is now something of the past and I am a lot wiser!! LOL. For sure this is my next project. GS is visiting and it is something we can do together.
