Hope this will help some folks. I use 2 pices of 9"x12" felt, 8"x5" pc of plastic needle point, 2 1/2" pc of velcro. Measure in 1 3/4" from all 4 sides on 1 pc of felt & mark it. Do your embroidery in the middle of the marked piece of felt. Sew the 2 pcs of felt, wrong sides together, around 3 of the 4 sides on the marked lines, slide in the pc of plastic & sew up the 4th side. Cut velcro in half making 2 pcs of 1 1/4" then cut THOSE in half lengthwise. Attached picture shows how I attached the pcs. so the hook side will meet a loop side & form a corner. Finish with 1/4" seam around the whole outside to hold those sides together when you fold them up, trim with pinking shears. I sure hope this is clear! They are a neat gift.
