I've had this program for a while but this is the first time I;ve tried to do a whole desing on my own, & I'm using L&E

I wish I could digitize. Oh well... Will you upload your design for cuties when you are finished. It sounds like a nice design. ****

Hi, I use version 6 but I think it is probably the same. Using Layout and Editing, type in your word in the size you want. Right click and duplicate. Now click the region sew button (the one with satin in the space). You should have just an outline of the word, now you can change that one's color and by clicking on the line sew button you can change it to a run or zigzag stitch. Just drag that one over the filled word. Depending on what you are embroidering on, you may have to adjust the pull compensation. I would suggest stitching it out a few times and adjusting the outline so the fill part doesn't peek out. Good luck

As I know.
When you have use the texttool. it will only fill the letters-
so you have to create the outline with the "outline" tool 4 buttons under the text tool.
enlarge your letter and click around the letter with the running stitch

I'm sorry but my SW gives me that option of outlining ea. font when I set up my design. I know nothing about PE someone should b along that can help u out
