She was very definite about the (first) Papilloma needing to be removed "sooner rather than later!"

I need to have a needle biopsy on the second (yet unidentified) lump on 12th November and will go back to this Surgeon on 20th November.
So while there is currently no great "urgency" she was most adament the Papilloma, (along with the family history) is a definite concern. (I only realised yesterday, that my Sister was my age when she had her mastectomy. Hmmm?)

I have chosen to go with this surgeon, no matter what her charges may be, because I was impressed with her, her manner, her knowledge, her history and training (London, Milan & Paris as well as Sydney), her personality, in fact, everything about her gave me confidence and I liked her.
So, for the moment, i'm still in a state of anxious waiting for the next stage, but at least now I have a surgeon I trust to take me along the path to healing.
Hugs and thanks to all my dear friends for your loving support.
Meganne

I'm so glad you found the right surgeon!!! Training counts, but you have to 'click', too, and have that confidence. Probably you were led there in some way. I hope your faith can sustain you, and that you have family & friends for support. 'Cuties' will be here to hold your hand, too. My love and prayers, Marji

Go with your 'gut' feeling for this surgeon Meganne. She inspires your confidence and that is a huge bonus when it comes to achieving a good outcome. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers ( and I'm sure those of so many others too). It only remains now to think positive, relax and call upon your strength and faith. Hugs to you.

I will pray for "your" surgeon to be under the care of the Great Physician and that you will have complete healing. I am glad that you let us know what was going on. I had you on my calender to ask you yesterday, but didn't get to the computer except for very short time as we had meetings with Luke's therapist and the supervisor to change his goals because he is doing so well and it took up my whole afternoon. I also visited with a friend last night whose mother recently passed and i didn't get home until nearly bedtime.
I have no idea what you must be going through, I do hope that you have a very strong faith and that it will carry you through this. This is my claim for you:
May the Lord open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you will not have room enough to receive it all. Malachi 3:10
Sending lots and lots of love!

Oh Meg, I'm sure that your recovery will be much faster because of the confidence you have in your surgeon. And from what I've heard PRAYER does affect things...So you know that you have ALL of our Prayers and Best wishes. If you had to collect them in a basket they would be overflowing. God Bless You and keep you in HIS loving arms. Barb

Meganne, drop me a line any time you need to have a chat. Nine years ago i had two cancer lumps removed from my left breast. This a tough time for you, go with your gut feeling for the surgeon you choose, they have to get it right, and yes sooner is better. You will be amazed at the support that is there for you. There are alot of good stories out there, with great results. Heather
