so I don't want to go to some website and wind up with all kinds of problems so I haven't done anything with this address but thought I would ask those that know more than I. If they are legit then everybody here now has the info to join. Me, I'll wait and see what you guys think.

I occasionally get these emails, too, but I just delete them. I figured it was junk because legitimate yahoo groups don't solicit members! Better safe than sorry. Looks like some of our cuties have gotten porn when they opened these types of emails. Don't want that!! *4U

i'm always getting emails asking me to join Yahoo groups and the only ones i opened and clicked on the link, turned out to be links to porn sites.
Best advice mark as Spam and put them in your blocked senders list. hugs n roses, Meganne

Yeah, lotta that stuff on Yahoo. I'm always getting spam offering to enlarge my "parts" that I don't even have, hee hee hee. And links to porn sites for jailbait chickies. Always careful with Yahoo, although they do offer some nice stuff. M

I don't know about mohammed, but I know I've been getting a lot of invitations lately to join Yahoo groups I've never heard of. I don't know where they're getting my information from, but I don't trust people on Yahoo. The groups I belong to are fine, I don't mean that. However, *I* was the one that initiated the joining. But anyone at all can start a group, so I would be very careful of 'invitations'. Why would they invite you to get something for free, what are they getting out of it? Why should some stranger be interested in helping you find free designs? I think it's shaky, myself. Gotta ask yourself, how free are those designs gonna be if you have to pay hundreds of $ to get your computer repaired? And whatever you do, DO NOT join something called "Grouply", you will get nothing but spam, that has been warned of on many Yahoo groups I belong to, embroidery & animal rescue. Best of luck out there, Marji

I have been getting a lot of invites from yahoo groups all of a sudden I have just been deleting them. they sound great which makes me worry. I have no idea how they are getting my e-mail but I know I did not ask anything about joining groups. I agree with the others if you go to join a group you have to make the first attempt not the other way around.

Wouldn't touch it - after having my computer crash 3 times in the last week, I am being very cautious about what I do and don't do...as everyone else has said you ask usually not the other way around... you are wise to not touch it...I have had some strange emails lately and even just opening them can give you problems - delete and don't open anything is my watchword from now on...

Sorry I missed your question about Mohammed before but here is the link for a list that I posted some time ago. And I agree with Mandor64 and dpickel, the yahoo group doesn't contact you or not that I know. Be careful!!! Flower and XoXo

Never had an email asking me to join, always had to ask if I could join. What I got the other day was an email telling me I had won 1 million pounds sterling. Did not even try to answer that one. Not that I wouldn't know what to do with it..

Hee hee hee, they were probably going to tell you that you need only pay the 'shipping' cost to get the $. Scam artists, hee hee hee. Surprising how many people fall for this stuff, that's why they do it. M

I agree with the earlier answers, I have never ever had an email to join a yahoo group. I wouldn't answer or open this e-mail. Good luck to you

I agree with Mandor64. Yahoo Groups do not solicit you, you have to request to join. I would not join this one....

Dear bikermomfl, I never received anything like that. Usually "you" have to ask to join a yahoo group ... not the other way round! Have a nice week-end. Mary
